So, I'm driving home at 1:00 AM and pull up to a red light. All my windows are down when Cheap Trick's "I Want You To Want Me" comes on, so naturally I turn it up. I look over to my right to see a cop waiting beside me, and he just smiles and gives a thumbs up before pulling away.

While its cool, i dont think its amaizing as you say, It would be amazing if the cop said, i race you to the next stoplight.

Sounds like a good dude!
My best experience with a cop has to be from when I was a young man flying down one of the streets down the Jersey Shore a little too fast, after midnight, with 5 girls in a focus ZX3 (BIG PIMPIN'), cop pulls me over because I passed someone on the right, ran a redlight, and supposedly speeding. Cop comes up to the window and I am terrified, I give him my license and registration as well as my insurance card which turned out to be expired, he goes back to his car for like 10 minutes and I'm freaking out but he comes back says "have a good night and be safe out there." Either a super cool cop or he didn't feel like arresting a 17 year old.
Also, I have learned from my mistakes and would not drive as recklessly anymore.

Honestly, just getting pulled over (and even the threat of being pulled over) is enough to scare some people (me included) into driving more responsibly. No ticket necessary officer, thanks!
